Almost dies when heated

Hi, everynone
have big problems with my rx7 '00

-after startup several seconds idle is about 2000, but after 5-10 sec falls to 300 (car can die) and then grows again;
-on unheated car all's good, except shaking and "knocking sound" on idle under the hood;
-when heated, i have slow response on the gas, more louder knocking sound on idle (ecpesialy when fans work) and one more thing: sometimes car dies on low idle (for example, after i stop) and sometimes it "almost dies".
I mean suddenly car rpm on a straight stretch of road go up to only 1200, the turbines do not work at all, if i press the gas to the floor, rpm begins to fall

ECU shows two errors: 46 and 56. What can i do?

Sorry my english...

I don't want to freak you out. Wish I could tell you what the errors mean but I am not familiar.

In my experience when the car has a hard time at heated temps it was because of bad compression. You should have your car tested.

It sounds like the engine has a vacuum leak and is running very rich. Check your sensors and all vacuum lines, intake boot, etc. I would suggest a "smoke" test. Mechanics have a smoke machine that pumps smoke into the intake when the engine is turned off. You watch for smoke to come out of any leaks. This will show a vacuum leak very quickly.

There are many reasons it could be running rich so maybe someone else can step in here.

Unfortunately i know english car terms very bad, so can't describe my case fully.
The big problem - in our city only one man work with rotors and i'm in bad relationships with him. Also only he has compression tester.

GodSquadMandrake, thanks, it's very good idea.

By the way: maybe someone can sell me compression tester?

you can buy the regular compression tester for piston engines, there is usually a one way check valve or a button to release the pressure. either remove the one way check valve, or hold down the release pressure button, so you can see the compression tester bounce for each rotor face.

I compared boost and vacuum with 93 rx7 - my values are lower (50-100)
By the way, 46 error - Solenoid Valve (Charge Relief). Can it affect on all system?

I checked compression with usual compression tester: 3 and 5.5 kg. Is it the end? ((((

Your compression is supposed to be 8 kg/square millimeter.
