all confused now...
Ok, I am told that the PFC is base mapped for all the bolt ons including midpipe. But that it should be tuned because it runs rich which is safe but is not ideal for the 7. So, I have all bolt ons including BNR 2's, and GReddy SMIC. I also have 1300 cc injectors. SO, if I set the pfc to read that 1300 cc injectors are in the car then the rest of the car will just run a bit rich but safely because it is tuned for rich anyways. But should be professionaly tuned for max performance. Is this correct or not correct?
Correct. Get it tuned by a pro. XS,Steve Kan,SR motorsports,Rotary performance,Mazdatrix, people of that sort.IMO: Base maps are only suitable for break-in/non-boost situations.
GET A DATALOGIT and a laptop.
You need this to make the PFC worth a damn. It ets you control a bunch of other shiat like fan turn on, more comprehensive injector settings, base fuel maps, ign map comparisons, loading whole ignition maps without entering them cell by cell...the list goes on
Get one, get smart on it, get some good ignition maps and get on a dyno with a wideband and tune it to 11.5afr, isn't rocket science, just dont f#@$ up.
Or let someone else do it, whatever
