Does anyone know what the belt size or number to use is when you remove the air pump and wanna use the stock pullies? It's a 5 ribbed belt isn't it?

they sell a replacement belt for the greddy pulleys...

 

29.5 inch, a 4 rib works fine

Well what size are we supposed to use? Why is everyone's answer different? I don't want pullies but I wanna chunck my air pump. Need to know what size belt.

 

Actually everyone is giving the right answer. But they dont make a 5 rib belt that fits, i found one that fit my underdrive crank pulley without the air pump, but after swapping back to the stock pulley, i couldnt find a 5 rib belt, i called every parts store in my city. They did make a 4 rib one but they send the wrong one, so i ended up ordering the greddy pulley set. So the best bet is the 4 rib 29.5. The greddy belt is probably a little to long for the stock pulleys.

 

I thought this was a bad thing to do, due to lack of contact patch on the stock water pump pulley after removing the airpump.
