it was absolutely soaked in oil...
is this a problem?.. .

can anyone tell me how much oil I need to add to my engine?..
I gotta do an oil change for winter storage,

If it is a paper filter, then it is a problem. If it a K&N or the like, no.

Did you try looking in the manual? Or the FSM in the stickies?

it's a stock filter...
I plan on getting a K&N stock replacement.
(will I need to get an aftermarket CPU because, I have a 3" Blitz NUR spec exaust,.. and from what I hear, I will blow my engine if I modify it without changing the CPU).

finally, no, I don't have a manual (my car is JDM)
and, I completely forgot to look in the FSM!!!...
snap.

thank you moconnor!

You should get a cup of coffee and spend several hours reading the FAQ and old threads. You will not need an ECU with an exhaust. Keep your boost at 10psi and you can add quite a few bolt-ons before getting an ECU.

To the op, are you still running the stock airbox with the stock bov's recirculating back into it? If so the oil could be an indication that your turbos are on their way out. The oil is coming from somewhere, and if its more then just the typical k&n oil on the filter, you might look into where its coming from.
