Aftermarket steering hub adapter

Hey members,
I saw this hub adapter on eBay, which enables 3rd Gen. JDM owners to install aftermarket steering wheels (Momo, Nardi).

Just wondering if it would work for the US models as well. Hub adapter includes the module that eliminates the air bag flashing light.
