The stock fans are among the best there is. Do not run them all the time .

i called a shop(good shop guys know the 7, just dont want any bad mouthing done so i will keep the name out) and he said that if everything for cooling is done and it still gets hot then the fans are teh culprit. i know that i get a tad hot(SMIC so im not blocking anything) but it is expected. im running a koyo with a 25/75 mix coolant/water. i just want to make sure everything is at its best. now to the question, does anyone know the CFM's that the stock fans produce. i know that there are some aftermarket units that might work such as flex lite. i would like the highest flowing CFM there is. any insight on this?

Once car is warmed up, there is nothing wrong with keeping the fans on all the time, especailly in the summer.

just run them on low all the time and on high when you race or cool down

Well, I'm trying to put my car back together and outlet on the top of my Fluidyne is different then the stock radiator. Mounting the front mount seems to get in the way too. The coolent hose isn't clearing the stock fan. Any ideas??

1. There is NO aftermarket fan assembly of the same size that pulls more air. (yes, I did the research 2 years ago and have the numbers to prove it)
2. The fan configuration, the thermostat, the coolant used, the fan contro, the radiator core, the radiator orientation, the belly pan, sealed air flow are all cooling system changes that can be done, are your sure your "shop guy" knows what he's talking about.
3. I have the Fluidyne radiator and FMIC, have no problems with fitment what so ever. The hoses have no clearance issues. If your FMIC is mounted under the bumper cover you should have no problems, if not, you'll have to re-orientate the radiator to a vertical position.
4. Pleas, please cutback on that signature!

I DID have problems with my Fluidyne... had to cut the side of the fan mounting set up to clear the upper rad hose. Just go at it with a pair of wire clippers. PIA though. I think their mounting jig for the welding has shifted or something. The three mounting bolt bracket positions (along the top, the ones welded to the top of the tank) were progressivly further out making a nice gap. Things don't fit well under the hood because of it, but this was the second rad from them (first damaged in shipping. Just loose in the box!) and I wanted the thing done. Heating system tape did the job on the gaps

For 500 bucks, should have fit better. Looked nice though...

The stock 4 blade fan puts out more than the 5 blade so buy another 4 blade fan from the dealer ( $ 34 ) and you will be maxed out ,using two 4 bladed fans .
