Changing the fuel system depends on how much power/boost you are running, really.

You will have to retard the timing a bit with the streetport, depending on how the ports were done. Of course, to really take advantage of your mods and setup, YES, you will need larger injectors and a fuel pump. These upgrades will enable you to run 14-15 psi with comfortable injector duty cycles.

Im running intake, dp, exhaust, and street port on stock ecu (Bought the car like this like two weeks ago and pfc is on order). For some reason or another the motor hasnt blown yet and the last owner ran it for nearly two years like it is now. So I wouldnt worry about much in your case.

As for RX7 being a money pit, I have already spent close to 3K on the car and the title isnt even in my name yet. Har har har

Does it idle rough? If not the ecu been reprogramed or its not street ported or least not enough of a port to make a difference. Its the change in vacume that gives the stock ECU the most problems, once boosting the stock mapping would work I imagine.

One way you could get a clue is if the PFC was preprogramed for a street ported engine. If so you would find it running lean with stock porting.

That's not true, you can certainly do a streetport without significantly effecting idle!
