RX7.com actually sells brand new seat covers for around $500.

In all honesty, i say just recover the stock seats. They'll bee your best bet. You wont have to worry about fitment, won't have to fab up new rails AND when new, the OEM seats look amazing. Check it out.

Just curious has anyone put the Corbeau A4 Wide seats in their FD?

I need new seats and am torn between having my recovered or getting something like these (I might be fine with the regular A4', have to read what they say the "wide" is for).

Anyway,

Not sure on the fitment of those seats, but you could always measure your current seat and see if they will match up, or come close. You may have to get custom seat rails as well, or modify the factory rails to fit the aftermarket seat. I do agree with the concensus, that it would probably be more advantagious to have the stock seats recovered.

Yes. There are (or at least were) pictures in the Interior section of a few cars with them as well as the CR1's.

The Wide version is 2" wider to accomdate waist size up to 40". If you don't have a waist size over 36", you don't need a Wide version. That being said, I'm not sure if the Wide version would actually fit in the FD.
