after breaking down in traffic on freeway...
about a month ago my car broke down (motor blew =( during traffic hour in LA on the farthest left lane... CHP had to block all the lanes just to push my car to the side because my car was too low to be towed. well it wasn't too low but it had a 99 spec bumper and a RE Arememia Rear Diffuser...
so.... now i am thinking it's a real good idea to get a tow hook.. but now i don't know how to get a tow hook that will fit for my front 99 bumper and rear diffuser... anyone have any idea or website to buy??

I forgot people tow their cars. ALL they have here are flatbeds. regardless. in my case my car was still too low (in most users opinions needs a good inch or 2 lowered) and still wouldn't fit on a flatbed without dragging. towhook is only going to make it easy to get it off the road and out of the way.

yes i did request a flatbed... but it's still a pita. even with the wood pieces they still "damaged" my front diffuser under the 99 spec bumper. a tow hook will allow a towing point for the wench to hook onto tow hook without them using a bridal hook (?) under my car.
anyone know of a good tow hook kit for 99 spec bumper with FMIC and a back tow hook with rear diffuser?

Excepting one of those elevator-ramp set-ups that the vehicle transporters use for the really high-end cars, I doubt there is a system really suitable for a lowered car with aftermarket body pieces like the OPs.
Reference tow hooks.... https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/rx7-tow-hook-front-bumper-634941/

it's a bit of both. I'm sure the op is working on reliability but if you drive an RX7 you better at least be able to get it towed home. B/c sooner or later it will be towed.

I have about 3 break downs in the past 7 years I've owned the car and I've found a guy who used to tow classic cars so he's well aware about what could damage a car...not just some guy who yanks on a car until it's up. I will only call him when a tow is needed and he has everything needed on board to see that a car isn't damaged when loading on to a flat bet.
first there are 2x4s to get the front of the car up so the front lip doesn't catch and scrape. second, he will have me walk along the back of the car and place alternating sheets of wood under the exhaust so it doesn't scrape. third, he has different sets of hooks/chains to attach to the car so as to keep damage to a minimum. He used straps with mine so as to not gouge any parts.
I would say to just plan in advance and try to find someone who knows what they are doing and comes well prepared.

^That is nice
I keep all the tools in my car to take my front bumper off. I've only needed to get towed once and luckily i broke down at work. The tow guy showed up and wanted me to sign a waver saying it wasn't their fault if they damaged my front bumper. I brought the tools i needed to take my bumper off the next day and call them back out.

Getting a tow hook is basically saying you dont care and you foresee more problems in the future that you would need that tow hook.
My suggestion is now since the car is dead, find out exactly what went wrong and build it better.
Tow hooks are for people who track the car, not for people to get towed away from stranded areas in public.
