i would seriously consider either an RX-8 or maybe an FC... but i wouldnt buy this car... The fact that the engine was basicly butchered to make work is enough that it makes me wonder. I would hazard a guess and say this car probably wasnt actually made by RE - Amemiya, or atleast the engine was removed or something.

From what ive ever seen of RE - Amemiya, they make some extremely high powered N/A cars but ive never seen an RE car that was made where they just removed the turbos...

I may be wrong, someone will correct me im sure if i am, but i would really say this car ISNT an RE - Amemiya made car. Just doesnt... feel like their style.

A peri port rotary is non streetable unless you live in the backwoods with no one around. They are peaky and loud, and idle very high. If you are not a full time mechanic I would stay away from this.

Removing the turbos from an REW engine would greatly reduce heat in the engine bay and make the engine last 2 or 3 times longer than stock, easily. However it would also be slow since the intake is not set up for NA flow, specifically the tube between the air filter and throttlebody. This is a lower compression engine with no boost, so torque and power will suffer somewhat. Even with a peri port I would be surprised if this was as fast as a modded FD turbo.

It will also be louder than a turbo rotary. Did I mention it will idle very high, and be very loud at the very high idle?

IF they were going to go NA/PP with it, it should be carb or ITB's. With a stock intake manifold I do not think it is a PP. At the most it could be a semi PP. It is most likely a bridgeport, which is on the edge of streetability.
