Advice on crooked engine alignment

short story. Reinstalled same engine/PPF after rebuild. Now it sits crooked.

I did xcessive motor mounts with a stock aluminum bracket that I shaved down as instructed and used the correct size mount for that side

PPF did have a small crack that I got welded during the rebuild. Could be it was tweaked this whole time but I don’t think so. Considering how quickly I noticed this I’d think I would have noticed that too. But can’t rule it out entirely

current strat is loosening ppf at the trans and motor mounts and Trying to shimmy it around to a better position then tighten it back down. Only issue is it always seems to settle in that same angle despite my efforts

looking for thoughts and ideas, hopes and prayers work too lol

Yea....

To summarize, aftermarket mounts dont have the alignment tabs the stock ones do. YOU have to align it yourself. You'll know its correct if you can slide the bolts for the motor mounts in and out freely.

It helps a lot to eyeball centering the shifter and then make minor pitch and yaw adjustments until its correct.

Tried having a friend help me adjust it and the only way we've been able to make any meaningful adjustment is to rotate the motor mounts 90 degrees which is not how they're intended to install. I'm going out again to take a crack at it but so far no luck
