The adjustment on the Apexi BOV is just for sound, it's not a boost controller (if that's what you are trying to do). In other words, the holes on the ring denote the loudness of the blow off. The larger the ring you are using, the louder the sound.

Unless you are running high boost, you don't need to touch it.

Just follow the steps. Tighten it all the way, and then while the car is running, loosen the bolt until it effects your vacuum/idle. When that happens, just tighten it back a little and there you go.

That is unless you have another vacuum leak. I have one MIA vacuum leak yet to be discovered and with the spring all out it does not effect my idle vac! It won't hurt much to have it a bit too tight. What is your vac. at idle?

If you have the same vacuum at idle after the B.O.V install as you did before you are set. If not tighten the spring and bolt a bit until you get to the vac you were at pre-BOV.
