Coolant leak problem
Noticed a coolant leak last week, but i can't tell where its coming from, i haven't been able to get it fixed because ive been sick, but i noticed it wasnt leaking when the engine was cool, but when i run it for a little while it leaks, anyone know where it could be or why this is happening?
thanks, E.J.

where did you see the leak? What area of the engine bay?
it doesn't leak when its cool because there is no pressure. But when the engine heats up and is warm...there is pressure.

yeah there are only oh... about 10 coolant lines. if it is coming from the driver side, check your throttle body, there are 3 hoses in that area, one that runs to the throttle body, (for cooling god knows what) and over on the passenger side there are 2 coolant lines that run to the turbos. There are 2 coolant lines that run across the top of the engine, if you get a lot of coolant smell, check on top there, it will be hard to see if you have all your emissions equipment. Check your AST, check the lines running out of the AST to the radiator and the overflow. And last but not least are your 2 main coolant hoses to the radiator.
If the are Original, there is a good chance some of them are cracking and leaking.
