Acceleration problem w/my FD

When I boosted my car today, it made a really nasty sound, almost like a missed shift from under the hood. I got on it again (not being a jackass, just wanted to see what happened) and the car doesnt pull through the RPMs smoothly now. It feels like ignition breakup but I have a feeling that horrible crunch sound is something else. It didn't make the noise the 2nd time, only the first.

If I had any clue what it could be, I would search. Sorry in advance if it is something blatantly obvious.

Info on car: 93 Auto. Only mods are nonsequential conversion, MBC set @ 11psi, and 3" turboback exhaust.

I'm a little scared about this, please help me out guys. Thanks.

Jordan

I dont think the motor is blown because it drives fine unless under full throttle. The car still starts up and holds 16-18 in.hg. at idle. No excess smoking either.

That noise won't let me fall asleep tonight. That car gives me so much stess!!!

I had it set at 10 psi. The car was boosting 10 psi today but I did not have my eye on the gauge when it happened. It hasn't overboosted since I've gone nonsequential.

The ribbed rubber inlet hose to my front turbo from the air filter box had collapsed on me under boost and caused extreme power loss. The only reason I foung it was it was 10 degrees outside and it took a bit of a set, long enough to see it.

Wouldn't that restrict my boost? I got 10 psi on the pull after the noise. I'll check all this tommorow b/c I can't really do anything in my complex parking lot. Thanks guys.
