I saw the post about the zainoed MB so I decided to post my own pics promoting my polish of choice . Liquid Glass. Freshly glassed today.

Pics are kinda dark becase I the pics were taking after the sun started going down.

Liquid Glass is one of the best kept secrets out there!

I love that stuff, only second to pinnacle soverign for the reds and blacks. But is by far easier to apply

Go get some if you haven't used it! Be amazed, no ****!

Liquid Glass rocks! It's a little on the pricey side but well worth it from the results you get.

You can get it at autozone. I think you can also order online.

That's nothing. This car looks like it's made out of marble:

He says: "I have used the regular Mequire's stuff (carnuba) every since I bought the car new on January 10, 1995."

Liquid glass is actually more of a protectant. The more coats you put on it the harder the protective layer. I remember a dealer who used to sell Liquid Glass would take a screwdriver and drop it on the hood of his black corvette from 3 ft high...no nicks or chips.

i used it on both my cars

first on my 89 vert..after the doors back were covered with new paint(got rearended) the new paint just made the rest look bad..but i put liquid glass on it and both matched perfectly you couldnt tell there was new paint or old paint

also put it on my 90 z and it looked good but ive had better results with other waxes for this cars paint...both have old and needed to be redone paint..just that the vert took to the liquid glass 100 times better than the z did

ive also used it on cars 10 years ago and it was always the ******* bomb

just my 2 cents

by the way the 90 z has a factory pearl coat and all..its a black car...brought out the shine of the pearl extremely well..but it didnt make it look really deep black like it did for my black vert..probly different clear coat types is why.....ive heard from a buddy at a pint shop that the ver paint probly doesnt have a clear coat but ...i forget what he called the coat.. a laquer?

just an update

More clean car pics. Just used Klasse. Not the best for black cars, but protects well and goes on super easy with no dust..

by ahdn with some polishing cloths.

The tihng I really liek about liqiud glass is that it only needs one coat (although you can do extra for extra shine), unlike the meguirs and the zaino. I lvoe my car and all but I dont' want to spend 6 hours polishing and waxing.

That is the beauty of this stuff! It requires no buffing, no rubbing. Wax on wax off you are done.
