99 undertray unknown part

As the title says,does anyone has it installed and what it serves(see pic for info).Part number is F138-50-AH1.

Looks like a back up reinforcement plate for the splash gaurd. I'm sure it helps with aerodynamics and, like that of the actual slash gaurd, cooling.

I dont.. Never seen that part before. Looks like some kind of reinforcement for the undertray. I have the tray and brake/oil cooler ducts w/ no problems. G

something new every day. Under tray does work without it, thou I have cracked my tray and brake duct a few times. maybe that part would help stiffen undertray.

No, its not super crucial --- the function of it is to create a small level of wind resistance to help aid in proper air flow direction but your ok without it

I have the 99spec undertray. It just works a little better with the 99spec front aerodynamically. Also, the 99spec brake/oilcooler ducts are also a good idea since they catch more air.

^^ tell me about it !!..................i would like this part i have complete 99spec front never had an issue but i never bottomed out so im in for some added protection for coilover install
