99 spec twins? 20b turbos on stock twin manifold?

So I'm looking through my friends stack of complete twins to replace mine and see these. I think they're 99spec but I could be wrong...I also saw some 20b setups...

So my questions are:
Are these 99 spec twins?
Can you modify the stock twin manifold with 20b turbos?

99-spec? Can't tell.

I read somewhere in Yamaguchi's book that the 20B turbos flow LESS than the 13B's. I don't know if it's true or not, but even if they flow equally, why not save yourself the trouble of retrofitting them and use 13B turbos?

Ok well I was just wondering since the turbos themselves are larger. I was going to bolt them to the 13b exhaust housing.

Anyone know if those are 99 spec? I've never seen them before...Completely different than stock twins. I don't think they're aftermarket...

Look at the part number on the rear compressor housing. If it starts with "N3G1", they're RZ turbos. There are a couple other configurations used 99-02 with other part numbers, but they're not the "280bhp" turbos.

Looking at your photo, I don't see the abradeable seal in the compressor housing, so they're not RZ turbos.

20B turbos are a waste of time... throw the 99' specs out with it.

If you really want to go/stay twin... BNR Stage 3 is the only way to go.

Well just a thought anyway. I will just be using the twins for about another year anyway before I simplify the engine bay with a single setup.

I think those twins are either 20b twins or 13B Cosmo twins - both of which are smaller than the FD twins and not worth any effort.
