95 silver/black r2 models

Got a quick question,
Is it true that maxda only made 16 silver/black r2 model rx-7's in 1995? just checking. If anyone has any documentable info i would aprreciate it.
Thanks

well some people would pay more for bone stock. it doesn't matter to me as long as it's stock body wise unless 99 spec.

but my talk is cheap since i don't have 25k sitting around. hehe. it really only depends how much the rarity matters to you. though in a lesser way it also happens to be the the "newest" year you can get in the US.

Whats it worth? The answer is that its worth what you are willing to pay for it. If you want to have a Silver R2, and your dead set on having it you might be willing to dish out a bit more for the car. I have a 94 Silver R2 and well I know I paid a premium for it, but its the exact car I wanted so well I was willing to pay a bit more for it. Plus it was taken care of and had low miles on it. Less then 32K when I bought it almost two years ago.

But in this case with a 95' Silver R2. I would say its gonna be around $25K... Maybe a bit more... Depends on alot of factors. Keep us updated. I've been out of the loop on pricing of FDs for a while so things could have changed by now.

i just sold my 1995 R2, black/black, they only made 18 of those, opposed to the 16 silver/black they made. anyway it was 95% stock with 60,xxx miles. Sold for 19,000. If i had the money i'd pay 25000 for the car you described

The car is definitely worth the low $20k range. Don't expect everything to be perfect on it though, despite the low mileage. Things like suspension bushings can still be worn.

Sounds like an awesome purchase though, and I would buy it myself if I was in the market.

Any 95 is a rare beauty. Consider yourself lucky. I would kill for a 95. Don't tell my 93 I said that though, she might get jelose and blow an o-ring.

bah! get a 93 touring for cheap and upgrade the hell out of it.... you'll be more reliable, have more cool stuff, be faster have a sunroof, and have a cooler dash too!

and none of this dual oilcooler nonsense, thats already figured in ^^^... oh yea, so is the new suspensnion that would be better than 9 year old R2 stuff.

haha
