'95 FD's Collectable?
Are these cars really going to be collector cars? And if so would they have to be in mint condition with no mods??? Is this a reason for a boost in retail price?

The 95s are higher priced because a)they're newer and b)Mazda only imported 500 of them.
I also don't think these cars will be "collectible" in the sense of a 67 Vette 427 roadster or almost any Ferrari. A Mazda just doesn't have that kind of prestige associated with it. Also, who know what the automotive future holds. I have a bad feeling that 30 years from now, gas is going to be viewed a little differently....

the CYM cars are collectible. Only i believe 300-400 were ever imported into the US of A. check out the CYM on ebay right now. It's at $24K. That is a good $7K over what a comparable FD would get if it were a different color.
