94 rx7 thermostat location?

Can anyone tell me where the thermostat is located on my 94 rx7? Thanks

Remove the water filler neck. It is behind there.

Thermostat is on the front of the filler neck, thermosensor is on the back. Or is it the coolant level sensor on the front? Anyway, the one on the back with the green connector is the thermosensor. To see all of that properly, you'll have to remove the y-pipe crossover tube and the vacuum chamber and it's mounting bracket.

I was being sarcastic, but really.....

That's why they print shop manuals.

Plus any "real" mechanic would follow the radiator hoses & come to the conclusion that the thermostat is close by.

I'm really just waiting for the mystery "Blue connector" under the UIM question. Or air box hose not connected to anything
