93 tranny suggestion

Hey everyone, please adivce if you can. Since I've purchased my car, I've had 2 rebuilds on the tranny ($4K) and I'm aware of 1 rebuild by the previous owner. Right now, the tranny is still not to my satisfaction. I need to shift slowly and carefully to avoid grinding on all gears and it sometimes gets stuck in first gear and it takes a couple of trys to get it out. So, here's my question.

What options do I have if I don't want to go through another rebuild? I've called Mazda and some dealerships are telling me they don't sell brand new tranny, just parts for the rebuild and other dealers are telling me that they sell remanufactured trannys.

Anyone bought a new tranny or reman? Another rebuild is out of the question, but I prefer to get a brand new tranny if possible.

Thanks for you time.

Dude.... First off, the only new transmissions that exist come in New Cars.... Everything else is REMANUFACTURED/REBUILT. Regardless of weather you get it from Mazda or not!! That's strait ****.... I've worked in the business... If you go to a Lee Miles or AAMCO trans shop and catch the ower in an honest moment, he'll tell you the same thing. Second: should you be lucky enough to find a low-milage wreck that's being parted out .... that would be a source of possible good trans.
I use to live in the Inland Empire,,, San Berdu and then the Antelope Valley so I know how hot it can get in your area. Don't know what your using for gear oil in your trans... however, have you considered have the gear oil changed? in both the trans and the rear??? don't listen to all the 5th Avenue bull **** regarding lubricants... try going with recommended manufactures gear oils and see if it cures your shifting problems... Remember, regardless of what you read regarding after market products.... Mazda spent how many MIllions of dollars in R&D to figure out what would work the best.... If, after trying this simple, inexpensive remedy, you're still not satisfied.. Well you can always drop another post on the forum and someone will likey give you their 2 cents.

BTW... there's a plastic-like (teflon or Nylon) bearing fitted to your shifter, that engages the shifter rod, which is easily gotten at from inside the car and easily replaced should that be worn and the source of a sloppy shifter....

There is already adaptors out there to connect a T56 to a 13B.
When I do mine (20B -> T56) I will be making an all new bellhousing myself.
