850s in the primary

Is it possible to install 850s in the primary rail, with the rail still attached to the engine?

If not, can you remove the primary rail without removing the rats nest?

thanks

I actually just put mine back on today. The hardest part was the reinstall. Really tight area, trying to put the bolts back in to hold the fuel lines on the rail. Garfinkle is the man...he sent mine back looking sparkling new.

Someone on the forum will come to your house and file the rail down on a skateboard . For free, but I can not remember who . That is the best deal .

Personally, I'm gonna upgrade my secondaries and leave my primaries alone. That way I'll be able to get some decent highway mileage when cruising.

i dont think the mileage is all that bad. . . i made it back from birmingham alabama on about 3/4 a tank. . . and i stopped several times to wake myself up. its not cruising that gets you. . . its idling. you just have pay attention to the tuning on that one. david garfinkle was able to pass emissions with his. . . stock cat w/o airpump. he just leaned it out to hell and went in.
