Exclamation 400 hp Stock

hey guys, i remember a guy on the forums with a FD, with stock ports, and twins that reached 400whp.

I know that 400 whp is a stretched goal but with A ported engine and non-seq twins it is possible.

Anyone have that thread? i searched and couldn't find anything. i know the guy had a white FD.

The most important mod is a generous dyno.

other mod and future mod are:

Hey Austin,

best I made on stock twins was 370 rwhp on a generous KDR dynojet.

I made a legit 421 rwhp at 17 psi on a dynapack (at Car V2 now/J-tune) with BNR Stage 3 non-seq many years ago, the video is on You Tube.

Trying to make an honest 400 rwhp on stock twins on a street car is silly. Even if it does happen, it won't for very long. Upgrade the turbos are be happy with 350ish

That pretty well sums it up, from someone who has 'been there - done that'.
I'd take his advice.

BNR stage 3 turbo's.

Im making 390-400whp on sequential BNR's and a stock motor. The last dyno sheet I have was in England, on a "heartbreak" (Dyno Dynamics) dyno. I'll have to get my car re-tuned for CA gas once I go back to get it from Virginia. I'll post up my "American" numbers then.

Thanks fendamonkey

The reason I am asking because I am trying to find out as much info on the garrett GT45 and GT42 as possible. On tuesday I am supposed to make an offer on a company that was seized by the government for tax fraud and part of the stock are these garrett turbos. So I am trying to find out if i buy the remnants of this company how hard would it be to get rid of the turbos and ect....

Yeah, but that's also E85 and a 35R

I think OP is just talking about stock turbos as the main kicker.
