4 Rotor, Same size as 20B
Hey,
Has anyone heard any new updates on the guy that claimed to have a 4 rotor that was the same size as a 20B. he said he was getting a custom e shaft made and was going to drop it in a 3rd gen.
Has anyone heard any updates on this ??
Whether he was successfull or not ??
Here is the link if you dont remember it.

I saw it at sevenstock. They said it was going to be tuned for reliability not power, about 450RWHP.
The shop is right by my work, maybe I'll pop over and see what the progress is.

It does, what he's saying is that the guy told him that they were going to drop a 4 rotor engine in it, but the guy said that the 4 rotor is the same size as a 20b. Basically according to him, the 20b and 4 rotor is same size, not sure what they call a 4 rotor though............only seen it in the 787B LM back in '91 when they kicked everyone's ***!

The 4-rotor in the 787b car was called a 26B. Any other 4-rotors not built by Mazda and used in their race cars do not have a number, but people will call them 26B's since it's just easier that way (if it uses 13B components)
It is possible that their 23A engine is shorter than a 20B engine.
20B engines use three 13B rotors.
Their "23A" would use four 10A rotors, which are each 10mm skinnier than 13B rotors.
With a custom eccentric shaft, you won't have that extra housing width like the 20B has, so you can cut down on length there too.
