4.77 Sourcing?
My thoughts as well.
Which one are you referring to?
I have a 4.44 RX-8 diff ready to be installed in my FD.
I'm still having trouble deciding between that or going with a 4.77.
The 4.77 would be better for autox, but I also like to do track days, and the 4.77 might be a little too much for track days.
Anyone here used 4.77 on the track in an FD?

What is the effective redline MPH with the 4.77 in all gears? That would help me determine if it's doable on the track. For example: 1st Gear 3K 10MPH, 8K 35MPH; 2nd Gear 3K 30MPH, 8K 65MPH, and so on... (note: I made these numbers up)

Thanks Dan. Good info. It looks a like ruff with the 8K redline, but then again no worse than my stupid 6spd STI.
<--- Hates rowing the boat during autox.
Oh snap! I need a 25.6" tire and a balanced motor. Then I'm off to the salt flats for 200mph!

its something ive been looking at myself , think ill go try the 4.77 as even at 60mph there is 500rpm difference between a 4.1 and a 4.77 so road use will still be ok

Thats a fun little tool. Thanks!
Not sure how many of you are SSM class autox followers, but it's interesting to compare Strelnieks (Transmission 2 - Red) Vs. McKee (Transmission 1 - Green) effective gearing. Someone please correct me if I am wrong to assume they both have factory gear boxes. I am going off of the write ups on 7parts.com.

EDIT ^^^^ There seems to be an error in this link and the tire diameters are equal, when they shouldn't be. Hmmmm. Watch out for this when you are using this program.

Please take the pricing inquiries to PMs guys. Inukai, unless you're a paying vendor you can't offer your parts here on the forum. Thanks for your understanding
