holy ****, iv never been that high haha in anycase, some cars were ment to rally (wrx/evo) and some were ment for street/tarmac (fd, mr2,supra,300zx,3000gt vr-4)

i would rather use a fc or fb to rally as who the hell cares if they get beat to hell and back haha. also, you need ground clearence to rally, i dont think a dropped fd would do very well as it will probally get stuck going over a small bump (hell i almost get stuck going over speedbumps hahaha )

I think I saw a rally rx-7 in SCCA mag awhile back...

that car on the other hand looks just like he is screwing around. The suspension isn't set up for rally and it looks like it has street rubber on it.

Not nuff suspension travel, probably would tear the car apart the first time you land on one wheel at 60mph...

...and to think of all the owners of black FDs complaining of the appearance of dust.

Dust? Who cares about dust? You can expect to ball up rally cars with some regularity. Real rally nuts usually have one or two spare shells in the stages of being prepped with a cage and paint, just ready to swap any salvageable parts from the soon-to-be-wrecked current car over onto it.

Or just for spare body parts... http://www.rallyplanet.com/index.php...limit_start=48 pix in reverse order, start on page 5 and work towards 1.

I can think of how to build up an FD to be a decent rally car, but it rather involves eliminating the stock suspension entirely (in favor of strut front/solid axle rear - need TRAVEL and STRENGTH), as well as the turbos (why bother in a 2WD car?).
