3rd gear problem?
Hi everyone,
ive searched the forum and didnt find the answer to my problem, maybe you guys can help....
What happens is lets say I start in first gear and accelerate past 4500 rpm and i floor the 2nd gear also when i shift into third ( and only in third) i have a sudden loss of power like the turbos werent working or something. now i have tryed going slow n 1st and 2nd and then floor it in 3rd and i get a perfect boost pattern of 10-8-10.........so i really dont know what the problem is. its like the feeling when your in first gear and then you shift in 4th accidentely you fell the slow acceleration....
neway i hope you guys understand my thread because im a french canadian, and i hope you guys can help
thx

Ok, I'll help, even though you are french canadian .
It sounds like you are not getting boost when you shift into third. This may be because a solenoid or actuator is stuck open (or closed). What does your boost gauge read when this problem occurs?
Try reading all the information on this link:
