Question 3K RPM Hesitation

I have researched this forum for a resolution to this problem, but I have not found any decive action. I was wondering whether the quality of the fuel may be part of the problem. With the prices of fuel going up there is a greater possibility that the gasoline is being diluted. Q: Would the lowering of the octane level by way of diluting the fuel cause the hesitation?

one definite way of fixing this, is by installing a stand alone ecu, such as the apexi power fc.

I have tried all the "fixes". None of them did it for me. Although my hesitation is very rare... only occures once in a while when the engine is warm (about 3 minutes after start up) but not quite up to full operating temp.

Mine does it on Sunoco Ultra 94, and the problem has been reported for years. I seriously doubt it is in any way related.
