I was just simply asking a question, because the way you talk you seem to know everything about cars but yet your car is not even done...

I would love to see your car done, it would probably be a monster of a car with some crazy HP #'s

I don't get paid to work on it, so it's a hobby, and I rarely work on it. Am I missing something here?

If it was a legitimate question, you should have just sent me a PM.

because the way you talk you seem to know everything about cars but yet your car is not even done.
And no one with an unfinished car could possibly know anything about cars, right?

call me grandpa - half century plus a couple - always had sports cars and hot rods (muscle cars).

i dont look a day over 40, im told.

so what keeps me young looking and feeling the same.

i have a sweet 93 fd that is in her mid 20s (thousands of miles) and a girlfriend at 31, and my turbo and rotary still work at full boost and always starts first time every time. thank god, i dont even need an overhaul yet.

Yes..... Yes..... Yes ..... Yes..... Not for nothing, but if you spent the same amount of time on your car as you spend on this forum...... You would be finished already!

Wow, I've never heard that one before either. Do you mind if I write it down? This is good stuff!

Of course, someone who has "Fast Cars, Fast women" listed as their interests must be terribly bright. Perhaps you have more to share?

Well, keep in mind; Jim has already modified and blown his 13B long before a majority of people on this forum even owned or knew what an FD was....

He didn't just buy a shell FD a year ago and start his V8 project.

Thank you for clearing that up Mahjik, I have nothing against Jimlab, he has contributed a lot of good things to the forum like the bushings and the rear end cradle, but I just noticed that a lot of time he get's into arguments with in so many threads..Why is that..

Jim is a great guy. I've never met him in person, but he and I do chat quite a bit (both being new fathers of infants). I've come to find out that Jim:

a. has been around cars so much, he is imune to fumes/exhaust so he loves midpipes
b. he loves lag so much, he preaches non-seq for everyone
c. has a beautiful little girl which he is probably spending more time with than his V8 project which is a good thing

Jim loves to poke at people here in there. Usually he is just playing around and people take it the wrong way. It's an internet forum so I think everyone should just lighten up and have fun.

That explains everything, I have a 5 year old that lives with the Mom in L.A., on the weekends that I dont work, I go there to visit him at least once or twice a month so its hard to get a full day to work on the RX..

to good Dad's....

Twice is now several these days, one of which was a junkyard engine in questionable condition to begin with? I think you're thinking of batman.
