If it had been released in 1987, it would have been ahead of its time...
Again it depends on the application. The Supra, 300ZX, C4, 3000GT and NSX are no where near the auto-x machine the FD is. Results over the past 12yrs prove that.

Everything isn't an auto-x but it does tend to show that the FD is light and very manuverable and shines especially at lower speeds, much like someone driving around town and on tight twisty backroads.

Basically stop turning sugar into ****. The FD is an awesome car and always will be. I'm still pissed it wasn't included in the 100 best cars article from Automobile Mag.

No, just being honest about it being only one of the brands of sugar available at the time. Perhaps some people should quit trying to retroactively turn sugar into cotton candy and a day at the circus...

The FD possesses aesthetics, aerodynamics, composure, brakes, and lethality. That it turned out to be a platform keeping pace with current technology continues to astound. For the money, it's been pretty damn good, hence its cult status with people of all ages.

Damn, I'm gonna be ** tomorrow. Pass the whiskey.

The fd is sugar. The 300zx, stealth, 3000gt, and Supra are all Molasses Seriously can't even compare the FD to these fat animals.

I'm at the circus every other weekend eating my cotton candy and laughing at the other clowns driving their 50 to 100k Porsches trying to keep up with me in my 20k FD. Then 2 or 3 hours later I'm crying in my cotton candy because my FD just broke again BTW for all the Porsche fans if i could afford it I'd have a GT3 but sadly that's just a dream.

The only weekness the FD has its reliability and that's a huge problem but damn when it's right it's like your riding on some sort of magic carpet. I love these damn cars and yes they make me completely crazy but just stand up and YELL the FD is THE GREATEST I know your with me. **** if you weren't you wouldn't be spending thousands of dollars trying to bring your Frankenstein to life.

You could say TENS of thousands but that would be pretentious and boorish.

Well, you're the expert.

Coincidentally, there are TENS of thousands of shops that can repair a wrecked RX-7 across the country, yet you start a new thread every week or so to show off your latest basket case as if you invented the process. Why is that, I wonder?

Red face

Born just before the Battle of Britain. Maybe I don't count, though, because I bought the '94 for my wife. But she is finally letting me work on it... Bonez DP so far.
