330-360rwhp FD?...
Well i waz just curious To what a 330-360 rwhp FD could stack up against from say a 80 mph roll or even a 40 rolling start...
How would it also Fair against a BPU+++ supra (about 430-460rwhp)

BPU Supras..... careful there, that's 100 more hp than that kind of FD would be pushing. I wouldn't risk it unless there's a big difference in drivers, but that's not likely for someone who has a BPU. Part of the off line difference would be calculated through how much rubber you have on the road. The FD can easily be considered under-rubbered in its stock form. I think I've made more use of the traction control in that car than any other I've driven. The Supra's got more rubber in stock form with another inch on the wheels. If you've got lots of nice, wide tread down on the road and you're up against a stock wheeled BPU, you may have some chance shooting off a little before. I really couldn't tell what would happen after that, though. There's a power- weight difference, but I couldn't figure it out off the top of my head. If I were you, I wouldn't put money down for a race until you know for sure. I'd deffinitely drop cash if you've got the same power figures or greater than a Supra and enough rubber on the road to handle it. Just be careful, that's a shady bet if the Supra's hiding something.
I heard someone saying that you only need be within 100hp of a supra to keep even from a dig or low speed roll (40mph). Beyond 140Mph I'd say the Supra is goin be pulling on you so beware...
If you use the 7lbs = 1hp rule I believe the (-100hp) FD v/s the Supra (ie 330rwhp v/s 430rwhp) should stack up pretty close.
Supra = 3,400lbs (?)
FD = 2,700lbs (?)
(700lbs / (7lbs/hp)) == 100hp
anyone want to agree/disagree, fix any of my college math estimates?

What nocab72 said sounds about right. That's what I've always been told. But there will be variations a little in both cars weights, because some mods have removing heavy stock parts and the aftermarket peices are almost always lighter. And some cars have a little "weight reduction" done..
Just race the guy! If you're over 350hp, I'd definitely give it a shot. We all know that he's a got a 6 cylinder racing up against a 1.3 liter motor.
If you lose, then make your car faster or learn how to drive. If you keep up, the make your car faster and learn how to drive. If you win, then he/she needs to work on his/her driving. That's how it works, I think.
good luck.

And don't forget to add a driver for the HP-to-weight comparisons, it diminishes the RX-7's position a little (as the driver is a bigger percentage of the total weight on a lighter car).
