3 rotor on Barrett Jackson

I was watching Barrett Jackson yesterday, the usual stuff, til the last car. A black 3 rotor fd3 with stripes down the middle. It went for like 48K. Anyone here???

i saw that it was some old guy that bought it too. 500 Hp 3 rotor banzai 3rd gen. Beautiful car. Old people and thier money, it was weird seeing that car on barret jackson though

It's Cam Worth's car, the owner of Pettit Racing. "Stock" Banzai setup with a nice interior. No flares on it. Funny hearing them talk about cars for the "Fast and the Furious" crowd. I've actually printed out the sales info from the BJ website so I can show the insurance guys a comp for my car. One of 12 3 rotors built by Pettit.

Yes, they we "one offs". I tried to buy a pair while I was at Pettit but the guy that made them didn't want to make a second pair. It was kind of cool as Pettit also made a top mat that velcroed to the bottom mat. The top mat had a clear plastic insert in it that allowed you to see the rotor symbol.

The mats were okay in quality. Group buy anyone? It would be cool to get some high quality mats with the rotor symbol on them. I'd be in.
