3 Large ASP IC's extra

Jason and I have been beating our heads against the wall trying to get Spearco to pull its head out of its bottom on that big group buy from last summer. Even to this day they can't get the order right, they sent us the wrong number of Mediums vs. Large and had to take some extras back. Well the long and the short of it is after having to deal with fixing shipping damage to some of the extras that were being returned to them they did the same damn thing again and sent 3 large cores again when they were supposed to send 3 mediums to finally fix their screw up from the start. They just don't seem capable of coordinating large orders.

I haven't talked to Jason about this but to put an end to this ridiculous shell game with Spearco I'm going to just offer a one time deal on these three large ICs since Jason already has them and it's costing almost $100 every time we have to F'around shipping these things back to Spearco. So the deal is I'll sell these three for the old group buy price just to get rid of them. Everything but the duct is done for them, including having the cast air pump friendly pipes now for them. My fiberglass guy does some agricultural parts used in big planting machines that's delaying my ducts a bit for now. Anyway the price I believe is $1295. If Jason doesn't want to do it I'll have him ship them to me and I'll deal with it. Sorry for the bandwidth but I just can't believe this is still going on. The worst thing that ever happened to Spearco was Turbonetics buying it and then Kelly Aerospace buying both. Product is good but otherwise it's chaos.

Have you considered maybe changing to a diffrent companys core, like PWR or Griffin? Just an idea... I recall the PWR cores being ALOT more expensive than the Spearcos, but I know Griffins are priced VERY well.

The problem is I paid a chunk of money for metal stamps to punch out end tank patterns back when it was Don Spears as owner to reduce the per unit cost. It's something to look into though, especially given the cluster (bad word) they created with the group buy.

Why did they allow Turbonetics to buy them out anyways?!

Aside from the duct, this is a full kit? If I were to buy one from M2 direct the kit I would receive from you would be no different? What about polished pipes? Would they be lesser guality than the ones M2 would send me in their kit?

Thanks,
Joseph

Kevins SMIC's ARE m2's SMIC's. He sold it all to M2, but has taken control of it all again, and is now selling them himself. I don't even think m2 is still in business?!

I am aware they are the same intercoolers but I spent about 2 hours a few weeks ago reading the group buy thread and with so many things going wrong I am just covering myself before receiving it and being disappointed. Money back guaranty?

I've never heard of anyone being unhappy with their ASP intercoolers.
I wasnt happy with the delay in shipping, but thats what Kevin was talking about earlier.

Sorry for the delay in responding over the weekend. Yes it would be a full kit. I mentioned the duct only because there is likely going to be a delay with it. I'll call him after typing this.

As for shipping, assuming it goes through Jason, you'll need to ask him. I normally charge around $40-$50 for boxes and shipping on the full kits but that's pretty basic stuff, Jason might have a little more spit and polish about it. I'll confirm if he want's to do these three.

Okay I'm selling these three directly so if you're interested send me a private message or email. It might only be one left at this time. One is sold and the second I believe is also sold, not positive. Total is $1335 (includes shipping in the lower 48 states) for the complete kit.

If you paid for the stamps /tooling you are also the owner of the tooling and can therefore claim them and take them to anybody you want.

Another tip.

Try to contact Forge Motorsport. They are UK company who have now based theirselves in the US

Forge Motorsport Inc.
6536 Pinecastle Blvd
Suite 'C'
Orlando
FL 32809
USA

I've been in business with them for years and their products are top notch at reasonable prices.

As a dealer you can request about every possible IC measurement you require, they'll have it (in the UK anyway)
