Please PM some of us that have the combo as to whether we should be worried or not. Thanks, see other mods in sig.
I'm not saying the device will not work well with the PFC, just that additional tuning will be required when installing. Once that additiona tuning is complete the device will work like any other ECU.

If one lacks knowledge/detail on how the product spefically works, I don't see how they could be so quick to berate it, especially considering the fact that it hasn't had its chance on the open market yet.

oh...and I have a PFC
Aside from a lack of patients i would guess some jealousy is the reason why some are "fighting innovation" . I mean i will admit i am growing impatient for some info and its a bit fustrating but some people have just seemed negative from the get go. I find it amusing actually...like a soap opera sometimes.

The way i feel is, nobody is making anyone buy the product. If you like it, buy it. If not, shut up and stop making assumptions about the product. When the release of the info comes out, you will be able to post your comments on how you feel about the product. But I think people should at least wait till then. I was one of the guys whos motor blew while using this, and i dont hold the device accountable. I stand behind skip 100 percent with this, He has always taken care of me, so i have no reason to not trust him.

fastcarfreak,

I have never posted anything regarding the result of using this device. And, I'm not offending anyone...you or KD or any person. However, what hits me and some others is the fact that there are people who use the device and still get detonation....consequencely blown motor.

Of cause, if the injectors stuck, the engine will not get majority of fuel it needs. That would lead to big-time det. Then, why the device can't help the issue?

Am I doubting the device? Yes, a little on how much it can help. If it does help, will I get one? Yes, of cause. However, to come out and just state that the device cannot help the detonation issue like stuck injectors, it just doesn't sound good. I hope you get my point.

Again, I'm not trying to offen anyone. Just trying to offer my view....if you would like to hear.

Folks, this device is not some kind of “magic bullet” with a cure all as some have lead others to believe. A catastrophic failure like a fuel injector sticking closed will cause detonation/engine failure regardless of what you do. This device adds a better safety margin than I’ve seen with any product that has hit the market but I’m not going to tell you it can’t happen under extreme conditions or other system failures.

PFC on order
Detonation can occur even with the best anti det device for many reasons, so it is not bulletproof...however it does reduce substantially the danger of detonation

So, I am more than interested to see and read about this new product
