2500miles without a Hitch!!

i just drove my FD 2500miles to va and back this past week with an adverage MPG of 22. just wanted to let everyone know that my car has been really reliable for me. back in oct-nov i drove it to texas and back 1000 miles each way and i had no problems. and other people drive them 100mile and breaks down. i guess luck of the draw but this car as been amazing for me so far its a daily. its for sale though do to me leaving the country in April.
my FD = reliablity (cross my fingers i just didn't jinx myself)

Good to hear that dude. I've also had good luck with mine here. Are you from Eglin or Hurby? Where you going? If you're going to Mildenhall, England, I hope to see you there.

I'm proud to say that the new owner of my car drove it from Charlotte, NC to Tulsa Oklahoma (1,100 miles roughly) non-stop (except for gas) with no problems. These cars are reliable if taken care of properly.

yeah the only real problem the car has is the shaft seal leaks at start up but doesn't really burn any oil after that i never dropped below the full line. I bought the car with the problem but i've been keeping an eye out for it and it hasn't gotten worst. i'm saving up for a swap or single turbo so thats why its not fixed.

japspec i'm getting sent to the desert for 8 months but since that counts for a short tour and i vulinteered(sp) for it i can do my BOP which i want to go to ether england or Japan i haven't really decided yet

except for one time that the MAP sensor vacuum line popped off and one time that I messed with something and caused the ecu to go into limp mode my car has been perfectly reliable for the 10k miles that I've driven it since I bought it. And I get about 15-26 mpg depending on driving style
