200mph rx7?

Has anyone entertained the possibility of going 200mph in an rx7.
I am taking a lot of fire for it on another board due to a cannonball rally joke

Power to weight, what would be needed to do it?
stock i know they go 200+ gear, but wind wont allow it

I have taken mine to 174 and that was topped out due to the fact i have 4.77 gears. and it did not seem hard enough to pull it off.

anyone know what would have to be done to pull it off.
Not that i am going to, but no one believes it.

200 mph

Do a search quick...

I remember seeing a table, that calculated just how much rwhp it would take to reach 200mph in an FD.

It's just all physics... good luck in your quest!

When I tried to work this out a while back I estimated I'd need just over 450rwhp to make 200mph in my FD. Do plan on trying a V-Max run in Germany at some point this year just to see how close I can get - will be 19x

bah
after making the post that i originally made,
about if i either had stock gears, or was able to push it to a 10k redline
with enough power i could hit 200mph
(it was started by a joke of a connonball run and i said id win)

someone made a topic making fun of the idea, its made 8 pages,
http://nestreetscene.com/viewtopic.php?t=3578

oh well.
that forum has a ton of online crap talk when no one will say anything in person
especially when you are 6'6 300+ lbs
(dont ask how i fit into my rx7)

I'm gonna see past 180...that's a promise, on video . I'd like to say 200 (which is definitely my goal), but that's gonna take a bit of work, and lots and lots of praying...
