Thanks for the mention guys, I am just here to help and occasionally stir up some trouble

Although they don't spend too much time on this list, definitely Bryan at BNR (Feared7) and also Ari and Chris over at Rotary Performance (www.rx7.com). Usually I pick up the phone to get advice from them rather than directly over the forum, but rest assured that all of their words of wisdom make it to the forum via my posts

Since the this thread was started I'd add DaleClark's name to my list. I think his purchase of an FD has been fortunate for alot of us.

I would also thanks this people. Even that I don't ask for a lot but everytime I have to do a search for an answer is one of this guys answering them. I would also add Speed king too. He has help me in the past too. Not to forget Xavier at the RX-7 Store. He gets a few calls from me once in a while and he takes the time out of his busy schedule to help me out.

thanks everyone keep it up!!!

I would like to personally put Howard Coleman on the spot for helping me with tons of my suspension and brake questions (both directly and indirectly), SleepR1 (if he still visits the board) for the tire help and info, and MaxCooper and Rynberg for a great combination of both wheels, tires, and suspension.

Also gotta add:

MilesBFree for that site that has helped me over the years. A lot of my troubles were solved by his site.

Thanks a ton everyone for helping me evolve my understanding of this car, as well as it's potential over the years!

Chris~

Thanks all. It is nice to be mentioned. I just wish I had the time to answer more questions and answer the ones I do with more detail. Some of the guys listed write a page or two to answer some of the questions here. Very nice of them.

WOW!! thanks for mentioning my name.. I feel all warm inside.. LOL!!

Just paying back to those who helped me when I first got mine..

Let see.. SPOautos been the biggest help of all.. He still helps me weekly!!

Also, AbadR1.. He's turn to the Dark side (LS1), but still a great guy with big heart! He helps me with all the exterior of my car.

Who else... AgentSpeed, RMagic (one of the first to show me the light), FDNewbie,... Geez so many people...

One thing I would like to suggest... Since others helped you, make sure to help other fellow rotorheads!! We wouldn't be where we are with out fellow Rotorheads!!

Thumbs up THANK YOU to Alwan16

I big "THANK YOU!" goes out to Alwan16(Alex) for coimng over to my place and helping me swap out my primary injectors and Fuel Pulsation Dampener!

Alex, who I've never met in person before, was incredibly cool enough to come over on a Friday night and spend 4-5 hours in my garage to help/teach me how to remove the primary injevctor rail. I think I luicked out because his girlfriend was out of town that night...

My car had been sitting in pieces for a couple months. I had actually boxed up the all the pieces (UIM, ACV, TB, etc) and was going to have the car towed to Rick's Rotary Perf. in Pleasanton to have him complete the job since I was truly stuck.

Thanks again Alex!

Thanks to TurboJeff & RotorMotor for describing (and taking pics of) some of the strange little plastic pieces here and there. You know, the kind of plastic piece that's left out of the manual and costs you $200 once you've realized you've broken the invisible release pins.

...and DamonB, for digging up that part number for the brakeline-to-firewall rubber isolator.

Names listed in no particular order, with the exception of Mahjik who deserves to be first! Other names I'm sure have been equally helpful and have been omitted unintentionally, disclaimer blah blah.

You all make this a fantastic forum, and I sincerely appreciate all of your help!!! Have a safe and fun 2005!
Hehe, you just made me blush like a giddy little school girl.

But, I'd like to thank all of those who have helped me since the begining.
-Adam C
-RX7RAGE (thanks for coming out to my house to help me out with the radiator from hell)
-Sonny
-DamonB
-Damian
-GoodFellas
-Mahjik(thanks for all the links)
-Dale (even though you haven't directly helped me yet, but all the articles he has posted since he acquired his FD are all fantastic.

I'm sure there are a lot more, but I'm pretty exhausted from 7hrs of SoCal traffic.

I had to check on my old Rx7 ad. I'm still getting hits from that old ad? Sold the car last Nov, but people must not read the posts?

No Porsche purchased. I'm completely retired from the car scene.

Hope you all continue to enjoy your 7s.

Peace!

THANKS TO ALL!

I have to agree with all who posted to this thread. There are many exceptional members whose willingness to share their knowledge and information, their experiences, and their time and resources, have ultimately contributed to making this forum a successful internet community for disseminating, sharing, and collecting all facets of rx7
data.

i would also like to extend thanks to all of the pre rx7club individuals who set up personal websites for sharing data much of which is still accessible online. Many of the current rx7 club members were part of those "lists" of days past and they continue to share their knowledge.
ACCOLADES TO YOU ALL!

Special thanks to Wade Lanham - says he rarely drives his 7 anymore and has not been active on the current forum for a number of years - yet he was cordial, friendly, immensely helpful and informative despite the barrage of questions and dialogue he received from me. Wade you rock!

hey scott (scotty305), thanks for the honorable mention. I am but a serf, a mortal in the presence of these kings, these omnicient and all knowing deities of rx7dom.
thanks!

chuck
