2 ?'s: Coolant + Smoking

OK, I'm a newbie 3rd gen owner, and I've noticed 2 things that are possibly weird...any advice is appreciated:

1. Low Coolant light comes on inside the car. I fill it up and the measuring stick is above F. But the light still comes on when I start the car (then goes off in 10 secs or so). When I add more coolant, it seems like it leaks out somewhere? But the coolant remains full! Does it have an overflow drain or something? The car has been run for 2 hours today straight with the Temp arrow always below mid, leaning towards cool, so it's running at a fine Temp. What's going on? Normal?

2. Little bit of oil-smelling smoke puffing from under the hood when I stop the car and turn it off. It seems to go away quicly, what is this?

Thanks!

symptoms

it could be a few things..leakin ast...bad plumbing..seals..you name it...............those are symptoms that tell me you should immediately stop driving your car until they are fixed. TRUST ME. I TELL YOU THIS OUT OF BEING NICE.

take it to a shop...immediately. you will go thru the orings with one good overheat and then you are out at least six grand.

coolant level

You need to add coolant to the filler neck(next to air pump) and check the level in the AST(cap next to the intercooler) check these for a couple days to make sure they are topped off. The oil may be comming from around the turbo area, (I know it's hard to locate but you'll have to keep looking to be able to fix it.

OK, I found an old thread, and it answered my coolant question. I was adding it to the wrong area (the reservoir next to the passenger headlight) that's why it was leaking right out. You can't add it there, apparently. I think I'm good to go on that. Man, they made a shitty owner's manual.
