1993 vs 1994
non-cali cars with no EGR and a cali model WITH EGR
94: All 94s are basically 93 cali-edition cars because they all have EGR. Making the ECU less desirable.
95: NONE had EGRs
I don't believe the maps are different.
when you're looking at the majority of our cars being almost 15 years old small aesthetic differences are trivial. I love the 95 interior I have a great deal more than the 93. And at this time even the differences in paint quality are becoming moot, most of us have probably already had a repaint done. The rear subframe issues can be solved for 300 or so bucks. So i completely agree with mahjik, it's all about how the car has been treated. Then again if there was a 93, 94, and 95 in equal condition i would jump for the 95. And no matter what your the RX-7 they got fantastic reviews all years the were sold in the US
If anyone needs a reminder of how good the Rx-7 is just hop in any other sports car of the early/mid 90's. The rex still just feels better than everything else out there. The plastic interior after 15 years sucks though! But again, on 92's and 93's it takes only a bit of elbow grease and some plasti dip to make it look brand new.
1) I did say it was MY gripe. Meaning my opinion not a rule. On that note: I still think that all that tan looks horrible.
2) I didn't specify a particular car, nor another person's taste, nor creation. Therefore no owner was bashed. It was a blanked statement.
3) Sorry that my taste gets your panties all up in a wad. I had no idea that what I thought mattered so much to you.
My 93 has the best of all worlds...
94 one touch *
Sound deafning in the doors *
Mint 93 interior plastics *
JDM Armrest *
Efini wheel *
Imo I like the 93 dash better then the 94 with the dual.
93 at it's best FTW!
