Are you talking about mounting an iPad in the dash or a dual-DIN stereo with Apple CarPlay?

There have been a few threads recently about people mounting head units that do CarPlay.

using an actual iPad would probably not make sense for normal use.

There is also the Pioneer AVH folder that is single din and supports carplay/android auto.
