1993 rx7 question

Hello this is my first post. Right now i'm looking at buying a 1993 rx7 which from what i researched has to be a tt. Right now i have a 92 nissan 300zx n/a with yokohoma avs wheels the tires and wheels are extremely wide fronts are 8.5 inch wide with 255 and rears are 275 at 9.5 inches. The lug pattern and all is 5x4.5. will this wheels fit on the rx7?here are pics if they work i'm not familiar with this forum

It looks like a Touring (I'm not sure if it has a sunroof or not), with Montego Blue paint and a Racing Beat aftermarket cat-back. For wheel fit questions, I suggest you run some searches here and in the Wheels/Tire/Suspension forum. The wheel offset is also very important to fitting bigger stuff on this car. (Try terms like "fit wheel offset").

Read the FAQ sticky thread and the buyers guides within it. This background info is vital to ensure you don't buy a bad FD. You DO NOT want to get behind the 8-ball by buying a bad FD.

With a rear wiper, it should be a touring model. However, the touring models had sunroofs. Looks like it is a "blem"

I see a sunroof now. You can't get an RZ, RS, Bathurst, or Spirit-R in the states. Just a plain old RX-7, in either Base, Touring, or R1/R2 trim.

If you're coming from the Z-28s, I hope you have small hands, lots of metric tools, and patience to spare

Looks like it's in good shape. But again, as previously stated, please do your homework and check and doublecheck that 7 before you buy it. Compression, leaks, etc... As Dave said, you don't want to buy a 7 in bad shape...

take a pic of the engine bay or ask the owner what mods have been done.

take a pic of the interior

it looks like a 93 touring with tan interior; take a pic of the passenger front to see if there is a second oil cooler

the bolt pattern for the FD is 5-114.3

but you should:
1) read the stickies or more specifically read this:
https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showthread.php?t=485773

2) get a compression check

3) get it looked at by a rotory mechanic if possible.

then we can give you a better estimate of price.

I cant get any pics. and yes it has tan and black interior, actually i cant even look at it until the friday before it goes on sale, its at an auction. bluebook says its worth about 12k or so but i can probably pick it up for 5 or less. I really have no way of checking it out ahead of time. Is 5k a steal?

Yes, if the interior is in good condition. But the amount of work that needs to go into it could vary from $20 to $3000, and that's working with used parts. If you can watch it start up and run, and it does so readily, without smoke, make funny noises, etc, it will probably need very little work.

I need to get to some auto auctions.

The Exhaust looks like the dual Racing Beat, stainless, its nice, Ive got the same on mine, supposedly its better for controlling boost because of it's semi-restrictiveness, sweet!
