1993 FSM Section U (Heater and Air Conditioner)

Hi All,

Does anyone know of an online PDF version of the Heater and Air Conditioner Systems (Section U) for the 1993 FSM?

Thanks in advance!

I've never seen it in the online versions of the 1993 FSM.

For 1993, The AC/Heater system is covered in Section U of the 1993 Service Highlights, not the FSM. Is that what you are looking for? http://www.wright-here.net/files/man...highlights.pdf

(For 1994, Section G of the 1994 Body Electrical Troubleshooting Manual covers the AC/Heater system. http://www.wright-here.net/files/man..._tshooting.pdf )

That's right and I've seen the Service Highlights supplement which does have section letters that correspond with the ones in the full FSM - C for Engine, H for Clutch, etc. but the table of contents of the FSM has a "Section U" as well, although it is grayed out - so I assumed it was a supplement like the Body Electrical (Section T) and the Wiring Diagram (Section Z).

I see what you mean, but the FSM table of contents also refers, in a Note, to a 1993 Body Electrical Troubleshooting Manual, and I've never seen that online either.

Here's the BETM from 1994: https://wright-here.net/files/manual..._tshooting.pdf

I just thought that maybe the "Section U" might be out there somewhere too :/

I would also be happy to buy one if anyone knows if it is available for sale anywhere.

Thanks!

The BETM is the best reference for the heater/AC systems. That's pretty much all there is.

Is there something you are trying to figure out in particular?

Thanks Dale.

As I mentioned, since the "Section U" was grayed out in the FSM table of contents, I assumed it was available as a supplement.

I do see that there is a AC section in the BETM - along with a condensed Section U in the Service Highlights book.

Now I'm looking for the '93 BETM - I only found the '94 version. Any ideas for a source on that?

Thanks!

I think the 93 and 94 are similar enough that it isn't a problem. I have a paper 93 shop manual (that has the BETM) that I've used for all the work on my '94 with no problems.
