clogged heater core...

So i am thinking about trying compressed air, is this a good or bad idea to try to flush or unclog a heater core?? I am trying to fix it with a garden hose in a min, but i am not expecting that to work, so as a fall back i am thinking about air.. Whats to much? anyone know??

it was actually a part of the linkage i had to mess with to get it to open a damper. I though wrong and it was simpler! Thank god cause i have flushin the system.. And just filled the rad with new winter coolant!
