Air mix motor may be bad. If you say that it still blows air.

It seems like the flapper door is not working and allowing warm air in. I would say that either the air mix motor is bad or the logicon control of the air mix motor is bad. I haven't had the problem myself. Maybe someone else has run into this problem.

My buddy had this problem in his 87. He just rigged a coat hanger to the flapper that lets heat in. Anytime he wanted heat he would just pull the hanger or push to close for cold air.

I wanna say its your logicon. The hot and cold leaver can brake. If you search you can find write-ups about common problems with this system.

So if I can get another one... Which I know I can, could this possibly fix the problem?

Do a little research and you could find out whats wrong with yours. I've read about the logicons and they have a few problems. My TII does nothing. I'll have to dive into it soon enough.

You may end up replacing it with another one that could have problems. I think you have to soder some connections.
