Back in 2001/2002 I was involved in a limited run of SMIC much like that ASP (we made 20) and I still have the mold for the duct. I have been playing with the idea of getting one of the eBay bar & plate IC's and altering the mold to fit it.

If there is enough interest, I could be motivated to do it after I finish my air pump delete pulley kit. I will contact the forum owners and see what their group buy fee's are now.

Drag this bitch back up for a second.....

Okay, I have the pettit cool charge II duct and the ebay ic....but something just doesn't look right when I try and test fit it. I have a koyo radiator, and the duct is hitting the fans and the top of the radiator when I try to insert it inbetween the radiator and that top support rail thingy where the hood latch is. I can only get it in like an inch, well probably not even that far.

So I guess my question is...how far is it suppose to sit back in under the front bumper?

Let's get this made! There's at least 10+ people here that want/need one!

This is a great upgrade, and it would be complete if there was a good duct to go with it.

Does Petit sell their ducts without buying the IC?

The problem isn't finding interested individuals from all the reading I've done seeing everyone bitch that no one has one readily availiable, it's finding someone to make the damn thing.

I don't care if it's fiberglass or metal, just someone start making these damn things.

I'm half tempted to get some card board and cut it to fit and use that to make a metal duct of some sort.

I don't see that on their website, do you have to call for that?

I got tired of looking, so I just grew some ***** and pulled the dremel out....fits perfect now. Just was hard going at a good, clean duct with a dremel knowing that I just fucked myself for selling it to anyone other than if they have the koyo rad and xspower as I doubt it will fit any other setup now, that is if I ever change my IC setup.

I'll have to look into those IC pipes...the ones that came with the ebay IC are not what I want.

They are talking core size. 12” high by 18” long it’s the core only, not the including the end tanks. Pettit cool charge III’s core dimensions are 12x18 just like SOME of the ebay IC’s, ASP/M2 large SMIC, and PFS large SMIC.

I knew it was the core size, but small, medium, and large don't correlate to dimensions i can use.

Thanks for the info.
