17lbs of boost = how many bars of

17lbs of boost = how many bars of
does anyone know of a conversion chart or the formula for lbs of boost to bars of boost. Or at least how many bars of boost are in 17lbs.

I believe 1 bar of boost = 15lbs so just divide 17 by 15 and you get your answer.

1 Bar --> 14.7 psi

So... 17psi / (14.7psi/bar) = 1.15646 Bar

I found a chart and all of you guys are wrong.
1 bar is real close to 14.48 PSI and Gordon I hope you are not running 1.7 bar because it is not 17 PSI its almost 24.62 PSI. 17 PSI is just less than 1.2 bar.

why do u need a program to calculate bar to PSI?

a formula is much more reliable.

Most people confuse bar with atm.

1 atm = 14.7psi.

whoah gordon, you could get someone in trouble saying that. someone might try to boost 1.7 bar thinking it's only 17psi, when it's more like 25psi.
