then read this https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/making-case-rotary-powered-fd-fix-806104/

I think all that should be enough to answer your question.

Do what Dmoney has done and search, theres no need to keep asking questions that have already been answered many times already.

Well in a nutshell, if well taken care of the 13B can be reliable.

As with ANY car, the more power you are trying to make the more chances you risk of harming your engine.

The 13B is VERY sensitive to a multitude of conditions. If it overheats because of cooling/airflow problems you could be looking at blown apex seals in the near future. Not having your turbo/s properly tuned could cause detonation which could also blow your apex seals (btw sometimes a blow seal can damage the turbos as well).

So, if you are planning on increasing your horsepower above stock levels you should probably look at the links provided for "reliability mods" and make sure you engine has the proper back up before you put additional stress on it.

Also, if you just want to enjoy RX7 the way it is, proper and timely maintenence as well as small mods (radiator, new AST etc) will go along way in increasing the life of your RX7.
