Talking 10-8-10 nirvana

This car really is like therapy. Just got back from the beach and having some fun with the FD along the way. Work sucked and I needed to unwind. A trip to the beach in the FD was exactly what I needed. Sometimes I forget just how fast this car is.

A while back I thought I was having some issues with transition between the 2 turbos and started the troubleshooting procedures in the FAQ. I still can't get 4 PSI when going WOT in neutral, but everything else is in order.

As I discovered today, my issue wound up being that the boost controller needed further tuning. After spending some time revving out the motor and adjusting my Greddy Profec B Type S boost controller, I got it working well. Perfect 10-8-10. Sweet!

Now I just need to get my metal cat welded into my resonated mid pipe and I'll be a happy camper. Getting some boost creep after 5500 RPM and the smell sucks. Never had boost creep with the metal cat by itself.

Just thought I'd share

I enjoy going to work in my FD, but I get there so quickly. Then work time, and I'm stressed, .. by the time the clock hits, I rush to the parking lot to drive home, and I'm happy again...

Driving is so much fun, in my FD.

Hehe. Not for a while. Enjoying the good life out here. Living here feels like I'm on vacation - every day. And I get to drive the FD all year long.

NJ sucks right now. We had a coupel days that were in the high 60s and even 70 one day. Now its back to barely 50 and supposed to rain all week. Too cold to take the bike out.

Too cold to take a bike out eh...

Try sitting on a windy platform wearing a suit and dress shoes waiting for a train in the dead of winter.

Or trying to cram yourself onto a nasty smelly subway car standing elbow to elbow with a few peeps talking about how they haven't seen each other in years b/c one of them just got released from the joint.

It especially interesting when a rotting homeless guy gets on and makes the people around him vomit from the stench.

Ah, the memories....

NJ ain't that bad... Just a little boring.
