1/4, first time at the track

Went today on one of those run what you brung type days at California Speedway in Fontana.

First time at the track, .80 bar boost, big heavy 18" rims, spinning all the way through 1st and 2nd gear.

Yeah I take it you were in the right lane? Still not bad for being on 18" Blitz wheels.

Dude - sorry I was thinking he was in the left. 14.8????? wtf! I think a integra type r does that. Personally I don't think that is good with 40lbs of wheels weight or not.

You can definately get that E.T down a lot, 2.2 60 foot time is killing your E.T. Honestly though, that isn't that bad Teddy for your first time out. Your clutch makes the car a little tricky to launch, like an on/off switch. Probably either ngrabs like a bitch or bogs. 114.3mph trap speed is good for what - 350-360bhp?

wow dude you have a lot of horsepower.

what do ya think around 350 at the wheels?

what mods?

I can just imagine if your 60 foot was 2.0 you would be in the real low 12s

is .8 bar 12 or 13 psi?

I remember the first time I went I got a 13.5 @ 105.3 at stock boost with stock cat, dp, cb, intake, and mild streetport with the pettit ecu. 2.204 60 foot time so im wondering what I would run now with the midpipe and 13 psi

VERY GOOD JOB I'M HAPPY FOR YA

my car is down so this excites me again!

My R/T's are pretty bad =( I got it better though maybe .700 But the 12.8@114mph run was still my best time even with that bad R/T and bad 60' and was my first run

Man, I saw 2 FD's blow their rear ends on the track at the same time launchign last year.

On this run, I had half a tank of crappy kalifornia brand 91 Gas on .80 bar boost. I upped the boost to .90 on the 2nd and 3rd runs but all i did was spin all the way down the freagin track. Serious, I spun all the way until maybe 70mph where it hooked up.

I'm going to beg Waysho to let me borrow her stock rims one day and buy some drag tires and make another attempt.

I'm getting hooked!!!!

What's a good brand and size for a tire for drag racing that will fit on stock rims?

Or better yet, what's a good rim for drag racing?
