The dilemma: 18"s look soooo much better but run the risk or rubbing, scrubbing, and decreased ride quality.

17"s still look undersized on the car but provide a visual improvement over OEM and won't risk the above issues.

Anyone have input on the matter, went with 18's and regretted it, or vice versa ?

Thinking of Sakebomb RZ wheels (17"s) or 18"s in something else (Fikse, BBS, Advan, etc..)

Photo of my car for the heck of it. The car is low mile (17k) and I have always been an OEM+ type
so leaning towards the Sakebomb wheels.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with OEM 17’s. . Since I’m finally getting around to a proper Rspec conversion, I debated getting the 18’s. However, the prices for said wheels are crazy outrageous. I’ve over spent as it is so I’ll keeping my OEM 17’s.
I’m not a fan of the mesh look the spirit r models came with. I think the only model that looked good was the first version of the RZ. Black rims with a chrome lip. The car only came in black so it complimented the overall look.
Again, rims are a very subjective matter. You enjoy the vehicle the way you want.
Just because, here’s the current outlook of my ride. 5 spoke OEM’s for the win.

I'm running three different wheels on my car because I am a cheapskate who didn't want to buy two more 9Js when I already had two wheels from two different sets that had been damaged. Hehe.
At least my front wheels match.

18s make the car look like a donk. 17s are the proper aftermarket wheel size.

Everyone has diff tastes...I personally love them. You can put 17s on yours, and I'm sure it will look great too.

Yes, the look is subjective. I prefer the functional look of 17s with meatier tires rather than 18s, which to me seem more like all show and no go.

I guess I'll find out. Definitely going to go, should sit mid 300s hp. Get it tuned next weekend. Got the 10s simply for the more contact with the ground aspect, as for sidwalls, they are not too bad, may go 275 later though.
